Get Involved!

Parent involvement is a vital factor in the success of our children, and we are very grateful for your participation. For student safety, a security check is mandatory for all parents planning to help out at LCA, regardless of the project's size. This includes, but is not limited to: assisting a teacher in the classroom, reading to the class, helping in the lunchroom, or volunteering on campus. When you arrive at LCA, please check in at the Eagles Office.

A background check is required if you are volunteering in a classroom, chaperoning a field trip, assisting with the athletic department, or helping with off-campus activities. Once your background check has been approved, it is valid for two years from its approval date.

PEP Hours
The Life Christian Academy PEP program (Partnering, Educating, Participating) applies to families with students in Kindergarten through grade 12 and is designed to help offset operational costs while keeping tuition increases to a minimum. Each family is responsible for completing twenty service hours per school year, which may be fulfilled by parents or extended family members, and must be submitted through the designated reporting process. Uncompleted hours are billed in May at ten dollars per hour. LCA offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities across classrooms, events, athletics, and school programs, though service at Life Center Church does not qualify. Special circumstances may be considered, and questions should be directed to the appropriate school-level administrator. Please remember to record your volunteer time on our PEP Hours Form. We value all the time you give to LCA and want to make sure that we keep your hours on file.

Parents for Life (PfL)
Parents for Life (PfL) is a parent-led group dedicated to building community, fostering connection, and supporting the school through prayer, service, and encouragement. The group partners closely with school leadership to strengthen relationships among families and enhance the LCA experience for students at every grade level.

At PfL gatherings, parents will collaborate to plan community-building events that help families connect and celebrate the vibrant culture of Life Christian Academy. Whether you are new to LCA or have been part of the community for years, your ideas and presence matter. Each meeting includes a brief overview of Parents for Life’s mission and impact, brainstorming sessions for connection events across Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions, and identification of next steps and volunteer opportunities that fit every schedule.
