In the event of emergency closures, Life Christian Academy will announce specific information via:

Early Dismissal Due to Inclement Weather
If LCA needs to close early due to inclement weather, classes will end at 11:30 a.m., and lunch will not be served. All after-school activities and after-school care will be canceled.
 
Delayed Start Due to Inclement Weather
  • 10:00 a.m. Start: Grades 6-12
  • 10:15 a.m. Start: Full Day Early Childhood - Grade 5
  • No Before School Care
  • No AM Early Childhood classes
  • No before-school activities
  • Buses will run late (Gig Harbor Route: 9:15-9:20 a.m. and 9:30-9:35 a.m.)

Student attendance is at the parents’ discretion, given the safety of the route between home and school. Once a student is at school, he or she must remain there until regular dismissal or parent pickup. If a parent determines that safety conditions warrant the student staying home, please complete our Absence Notification form.

In the event of a campus evacuation, LCA has a Parent Reunification Plan in place.
