Spiritual Focus
The Spiritual goals reflect a deep commitment to partnering with families to disciple students in the way of Christ. We believe, as Proverbs 22:6 teaches, that when children are trained in the way they should go, they will not depart from it. By engaging parents through forums and resources, inviting students to reflect on their spiritual growth, and involving every grade in meaningful acts of service, we are cultivating a Christ-centered culture shaped by Scripture, prayer, and purpose. We desire that every student would be rooted in faith, formed in character, and equipped to serve God's Kingdom with joy.
Annually, Life Christian Academy will provide Parent Forum opportunities each semester.
ACTION STEPS
- The administrative team will plan dates, times, and speakers to address present, relevant topics.
- Administration, Faculty, and Staff will communicate upcoming events.
- Time and space will be created for question and answer at the event.
- Parent Forum events will be recorded and released at a later date.
- Creation of an online resource blog to support parents.
Three times annually (fall, winter, spring), students will complete surveys regarding spiritual culture and climate as well as personal spiritual growth.
ACTION STEPS
- Develop and implement surveys using ParentPulse software.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of survey results.
- Apply findings to refine spiritual growth initiatives and enhance student discipleship.
Monthly, Faculty, staff, and administration will document praise reports, reflecting on prayer requests and evidence of God's work.
ACTION STEPS
- Introduce the concept of praise reports to students during chapel services.
- Design a mechanism to track prayer and praise updates effectively.
- Communicate results consistently with parents and students at the classroom level.
By the start of the 2027 school year, each grade level will have a unique service project.
ACTION STEPS
- Establish partnerships with local and global community organizations.
- Include student leadership groups (grades 5–12) in brainstorming sessions for project ideas.
- Involve elementary team leads (PS–4th) in generating service project concepts.
- Develop a structured implementation process for annual service projects.
- Create evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness and impact of each service project.
