See You at the Pole is a national prayer movement that hosts an annual day of prayer for schools across America. We invite all LCA parents, students, faculty, and staff to join us in covering LCA in prayer on September 23 at 7:30 a.m. We will meet by the main doors, under our flagpoles, for worship followed by group and individual prayer for our city and our students. Below is more information about what we will be focusing our prayer on this year.
The 2026 theme verse for See You at the Pole is: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Every student carries something, whether it is stress, pressure, anxiety, loneliness, questions about the future, struggles at home, or the weight of trying to fit in. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus gives a simple invitation: “Come to Me.” He doesn’t ask us to have everything figured out first. He invites us to bring our worries, fears, and burdens directly to Him. Through prayer, we discover that we are not alone. Jesus offers rest for our hearts, peace for our minds, and strength for each day. This year, let’s accept His invitation and bring everything to Him in prayer.
Here are some things you can pray for:
Pray for the hearts and minds of LCA students, that they would find their rest and worth in Christ.
Pray for the people that our students impact, that their lives would be changed by the Gospel.
Pray for our staff, that they would not grow weary of shaping this generation of believers.
Pray for the greater Tacoma area, that there would be a Jesus movement started through the lives of young people.
We can't wait to see you there, as we unite together as LCA Eagles and pray powerful prayers!
