Course Description
PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
Our physical education department purposes to help students develop life-long habits that contribute to healthy living. Graduation requirements are for three semesters of physical activity courses and one semester of nutrition instruction. One of the three semesters of physical activity courses may be forgiven for participation in multiple seasons of high school sports, if a student applies for a waiver. Club sports cannot be used for this purpose.
Conditioning Class 1 Semester
Fitness training for this class takes place in the KAC and in our weight room. Time in class will focus on the physical aspects of conditioning, cardiovascular training, strength training, and flexibility with an emphasis on proper technique and personal improvement.
