SOAR Scholarship

Life Christian Academy seeks to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education. Our admissions and retention practices are designed to be inclusive, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and family structures as we pursue our shared mission to love God, love others, speak life, and pray powerful prayers. This scholarship exists to help make Christian education financially accessible for qualifying families.

LCA offers need-based financial aid, with a defined annual maximum per student. Through generous contributions to the SOAR Fund, the school and its donors can extend additional financial support to families in need.

Below is a list of criteria for the SOAR Scholarship:

• Families must complete an application to attend Life Christian Academy in the fall.
• Families must apply for financial aid through Blackbaud within specified time frames.
• First-time applicants and returning SOAR recipients must complete the SOAR Scholarship application.
• New applicants must submit at least one Teacher Recommendation Letter with their application.
• Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5.
• Applicants must participate in Life Christian Academy extracurricular activities (athletics, clubs, fine arts, etc.).
• New applicants must submit answers to our four essay prompts through our online SOAR Scholarship application.
• The SOAR Scholarship Committee may interview applicants.
