Cornerstones Focus
The Cornerstone Goals represent a reaffirmation of the foundational commitments that have shaped Life Christian Academy’s identity and success over the past fifty years. Rooted in a missional vision, LCA was established as an outreach ministry of Life Center, grounded in the desire to serve and impact the broader Pierce County community with Christ-centered education.
This legacy endures today as we strive to educate and disciple students in a manner that respects both our spiritual heritage and our academic mission. Situated in one of the most diverse counties in Washington state, LCA reflects the rich cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity of Pierce County. We see this diversity as a God-given strength, one that enriches our learning environment and prepares students to lead with wisdom, empathy, and faith in an increasingly interconnected world.
By engaging alumni, we honor those who helped shape this community and invite them to invest in the next generation. A consistent financial plan allows us to support excellence in education while building long-term sustainability. Our focus on diversity reflects the unity of the gospel, where every background and story is valued and respected. Expanding access and support for all learners affirms that each child is fearfully and wonderfully made.
Annually, alumni engagement and participation at LCA events will increase by 25%.

We are committed to fostering a Christ-centered school community in which every student and family is known, valued, and supported. As a missional institution, we intentionally welcome families from a variety of cultural, denominational, and socioeconomic backgrounds, grounded in the biblical truth that “we are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). This commitment reflects both our theological convictions and our desire to cultivate a learning environment marked by unity amid God-honoring diversity.
ACTION STEPS
- Provide ongoing professional development for faculty and staff to foster a culture of honor and mutual respect.
- Ensure that admissions and retention processes reflect a commitment to welcoming families from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Use tuition assistance and scholarships to support students from various socioeconomic contexts.
- Expand the L.I.F.E. Program to meet the needs of a broader range of learners, helping each student flourish in their God-given potential.
