Hall of Fame

The Alumni Board is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame. We invite you to submit a nomination to [email protected]. Submission should include the full name of the nominee and a description with examples of how the individual meets the Hall of Fame criteria.

Life Christian Academy Hall of Fame Criteria and Eligibility

Section 1
Nominees to the Life Christian Academy (LCA) Hall of Fame shall be selected based upon set eligibility and criteria requirements. These requirements shall be upheld by the nomination committee and exceptions may only be made in extraordinary circumstances by a majority of the committee.

Section 2
Nominees shall fall into one of four (4) categories recognized by the LCA Hall of Fame: Faculty/Staff, Alumni, Athletics, and Contributors. A nominee may only be selected to one (1) category of the LCA Hall of Fame. Faculty/Staff shall be defined as having been employed at LCA. Alumni shall be defined as having graduated from LCA. Athletics shall be defined as the athletes and coaches involved in varsity athletics at LCA. Contributors shall be defined as others involved in the LCA community who do not fit into the other categories.

Section 3
Nominees must have shown dedication and/or made significant contributions to the LCA community and/or represented LCA with dignity after leaving the school. Nominees must have upheld the values and mission of LCA both at LCA and in the world. Nominees must have brought special recognition to themselves and/or LCA due to successful endeavors.

Section 4
Alumni shall be considered based on contributions made to the LCA community or in the world after leaving LCA. Contributions may have directly affected or reflected positively upon the LCA community. Scholastic, community, personal, and professional accomplishments shall be considered. Alumni shall become eligible for nomination six (6) years after graduation from LCA.

Section 5 
Athletes shall be considered based on achievements in their athletic endeavors at LCA and beyond. Athletes’ accomplishments at LCA and in any collegiate or professional endeavors shall be considered. In addition, athletes must have upheld the reputation of a student-athlete and fared well in the classroom and in the community. Athletes shall become eligible for nomination six (6) years after graduation from LCA.

Section 6
Coaches shall be considered based on achievements in their coaching endeavors at LCA and beyond. Coaches’ accomplishments at LCA and in any other coaching endeavors shall be considered. Coaches shall become eligible after completing ten (10) years of service to LCA.

Section 7
Faculty, staff, and administrators shall be considered based on contributions made to the LCA community or the world. Contributions may have directly affected or reflected positively upon the LCA community. Faculty, staff, and administrators shall become eligible after completing at least ten (10) years of service to LCA.

Section 8
Contributors shall be considered based on extraordinary contributions made to the LCA community for the betterment of students, staff, and others involved in the community. Contributors shall be eligible at any time.

Section 9
In lieu of selecting all individual members of a group the committee feels should be recognized in the LCA Hall of Fame, the committee may select the group as a whole. Groups shall be selected according to the same criteria above. Individuals included in a group shall be eligible to be selected as an individual if he/she meets eligibility requirements.
