Spring Elementary After-School Programs

Life Christian Academy is excited to offer several after-school programs for elementary students during the spring.
Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early, as programs will fill up fast.

Ballet
Grades: K–1 | Thursdays, April 17 – May 15 | 3:15–4:15 p.m. | Room 224 | Cost: $100 | Instructor: Surrendered School of Dance
Students will explore the joy of dance and learn how movement can glorify God. This course introduces basic ballet techniques, etiquette, and terminology. Students will also prepare a special piece for chapel on May 21st. Register here for Ballet.

Hip Hop
Grades: 2–5 | Thursdays, April 17 – May 15 | 3:15–4:15 p.m. | Room 226 | Cost: $100 | Instructor: Surrendered School of Dance
In this dynamic class, students will discover the joy of hip-hop and how expressive movement can honor God. The course will cover foundational hip-hop techniques, etiquette, and terminology. A chapel performance is also scheduled for May 21st. Register here for Hip Hop.

Coding
Grades: K–2 | Thursdays, April 24 – May 29 | 3:15–4:15 p.m. | Room 139 | Cost: $45 | Instructor: Mrs. Schambier
This engaging introduction to coding invites students to explore the basics of programming in a fun, interactive environment. Whether your child is an aspiring programmer or curious to try something new, this class provides valuable digital literacy skills.

Wood Work
Grades: K–5 | Wednesdays, April 23 – May 28 | 3:15–4:15 p.m. | Room 141 | Cost: $75 | Instructors: Mrs. Ford & Mrs. Weakley
Students will enjoy hands-on creativity as they design and build wooden crafts each week. Projects will align with seasonal themes—Mother’s Day, Spring, Summer, and Father’s Day—making each piece a meaningful keepsake.

CORE Club

Grades: 3-5 (maximum 12 participants): Cost: $75 | Thursdays 3:15-4:15 p.m.
This high-energy program blends physical activity with biblical truth. Students will engage their physical core while exploring the spiritual core of who God says they are. The program aligns with this year’s theme: “LCA to the CORE.”
