Thank you for your interest in our Middle School Esports program. The cost is $75 per semester and this covers all games, team registration for events, and team wear.
Spring Esports is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and our season will run from February into May. Students who sign up will meet with Mr. Johnson during Advisory on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will also meet on Mondays after school until 3:45 p.m.
In school, the Esports team will focus on practices and strategies, as well as team building and sportsmanship. Competitions will take place at home or in the Esports Lab, depending on time and availability.
The Spring Esports season consists of:
Rocket League (3 v 3)
Games are played on Thursdays, with que times between 2:55-3:05 p.m., 3:55-4:05 p.m., or 5:55-6:05 p.m.. Games typically last 20-40 minutes.
Rocket League (2 v 2)
Games are played on Mondays, with que times beween 2:55-3:05 p.m., 3:55-4:05 p.m., or 5:55-6:05 p.m. Games typically last 20-40 minutes.
Minecraft (Survival)
Games are played on Tuesdays, with que times between 2:55-3:05 p.m., 3:55-4:05 p.m., or 5:55-6:05 p.m. Games typically last 15-20 minutes.
10 Minute Chess
Games are played on Tuesdays, with que times between 5:55-6:05 p.m. As the name suggests, games are 10 minutes or less, but play to the best of 5, so it can take an hour of play.
Brawlhalla
Games are played on Wednesdays, with que times between 3:55-4:05 p.m. and 5:55-6:05 p.m. Games typically last 20-40 minutes.
Splatoon 3 (3 v 3)
Games are played on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Games typically last 30-45 minutes and are only played on the Nintendo Switch.
Mario Card 8 Deluxe (4 v 4)
Games are played on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Games typically last 30-45 minutes and are only played on the Nintendo Switch.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Games are played on Mondays at 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. Games typically last 30-45 minutes and are only played on the Nintendo Switch.
