Appointments can be made by e-mail or phone. My planning period is 3rd Period (11:00-11:45 am). I coach every day after school starting in November.

Supplies needed: A three ring binder for standard 8.5x 11 papers, a book cover is recommended to decrease the chance of paying for a damaged book at the end of the semester.

What is studied in Anatomy and Physiology: Structural Organization and Orientation, Body Tissues, Skin and Body Membranes, Skeletal System, Muscular System, Nervous System, Special Senses, Endocrine System, Blood, Cardiovascular System, Lymphatic System, Respiratory System, Urinary System, and Reproductive System. (Digestive System is covered in Nutrition Course.)

How will we learn: Worksheets, tests, projects, reading outside articles and the textbook, class discussion.

How a grade is earned: Your grade will be based on the total points earned in class from tests, presentations.. Extra credit is rare in this course, your test scores will be your grade.

What are the behavioral expectations?

Be respectful of your peers and teacher- A part of earning respect is showing it to others.

Bring your book and workbook to class each day- All other items are not necessary and should be stored in your locker.

Turn in your work on time – If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get the assignments that you missed. Check the school homework website for all homework and assignments each week.

Rewards:

-Extra credit (up to 5%)

Consequences: Can include but are not limited to the following: Phone call home, seat exchange, 0 points for the assignment, extra assignments, staying after school, detention.
