Advanced Placement (AP) European History is a year long course covering world history from 1300 AD to the present day.  The first semester covers the years 1301-1848 AD while second semester covers the time period of 1848 AD to the present day. The course focuses on man’s relationship to God and how it has influenced the scope and course of history. Students will be required to think critically and attempt to see the common patterns in political, social, and economic developments throughout the western world. Skills emphasized will include writing, problem solving, group discussion and debate, and critical analysis.

ATTACHED is the reading schedule for Ch. 28 Cold War Conflict and Consensus. The schedule takes us through to Spring Break. There will be no reading assignments over Spring Break, but it would a great choice if you decided to read/review the Strive for a 5 over the course of the break (or other times). We've covered a lot of material and the more your remember, the better you will do on the AP Exam.
